Elstor solution has replaced the use of natural gas since 2021 at Kaskein Marja food factory in Lappeenranta.

At Kaskein Marja food factory in Lappeenranta, the use of natural gas in steam production has been significantly reduced since 2021 with Elstor device.

Kaskein Marja Situation

Kaskein Marja device served as the prototype for the fully commercial device of Elstor Oy. The experiences from Kaskein Marja have greatly assisted Elstor in refining the device to make it even better. Monitoring the usage history of the device has clarified its sizing and suitability for various industrial needs. At the same time, Kaskein Marja has reduced its own emissions and lowered the overall costs of steam production.
