How does it work

Charging with electricity during the lowest price periods

The charging of the Elstor energy storage system is optimized for the lowest electricity prices of the day. An AI-based charging algorithm automatically selects the required charging hours by monitoring the storage capacity, upcoming electricity prices, and forecast heat demand.

Stored in a patented high-temperature energy storage

Thanks to its storage capacity, the lowest electricity prices can be aligned with the heat demand of industrial processes. Optimized charging enables the system’s operating costs to remain lower than those of fossil fuels.

Discharged from storage as steam when needed

The charging and discharging processes of the Elstor system are fully independent. This enables flexible heat use to meet the varying needs of industrial processes. The storage discharge rate can be adjusted continuously between 0 and 100%.
