RTC Summit 2026

Elstor Oy’s CEO and co-founder, Kari Suninen, will speak at and attend the Renewable Thermal Collaborative Summit on 21–23 October 2026 in Arlington, Virginia, USA.

The summit brings together industrial energy companies, technology providers and other stakeholders working to decarbonize industrial heat and steam production processes. For Elstor Oy, it is an opportunity to exchange perspectives on industrial electrification and discuss how thermal energy storage can help companies reduce their reliance on fossil fuels while managing energy costs.

Renewable electricity for industrial steam and heat

Elstor Oy provides energy storage solution that use renewable electricity to produce fossil-free steam and heat for industrial processes. The solution combines electrification with energy storage, allowing electricity consumption and heat/steam production to take place at different times.

The storage is charged during lower-cost electricity hours, and the stored thermal energy is used to produce steam and heat when needed. This enables industrial users to take advantage of electricity price variations while meeting their production needs.

At the summit, we look forward to discussing the practical role of thermal energy storage in industrial decarbonization. Making the transition economically viable is central to this work: companies need solutions that support both emissions reductions and cost-effective operations. Elstor Oy will also present its commercial customers from different industrial fields and talk about how the Elstor energy storage has benefit them.
